INTERVIEW HERE

Window Project @Mobius : Jeff Huckleberry

Sat Dec 19, 2009

We started working on the windows last night. Sandy worked late into the night, Jeff and Wilder collaborated on a diorama, Matt Gaertner stopped by and dropped off his cheeseburger brief case, and Bob helped us install Justene Williams' video.

More to come! Stop by and have a look.

So, I got behind posting. I'm running out of time with all of the projects. It feels like I have made "progress"; towards what I don't really know. It doesn't feel like a dead end, but dead ends are sneaky.

Dead end?

"NO!" When you are really tired, don't cut your hand open with a bread knife.

This box has the most presence right now. It is dominating the room. Bad Box.

I worked most of the day today trying to figure out a couple of sculptures. Here is one, it already has a title: Annoying Sculpture, Variation 1.

Here is another object I worked on today. This was a bit of a nailbiter actually, and had me worried more than a couple of times. Title: Sculpture Wherin I Almost (for the 500th time) Cut My Hand Off With The Circular Saw.

O.K. I moved stuff around, "paid" a vist to Home Depot for more stuff, dropped the stuff off at the gallery and hunkered down. Still no real idea about direction except for straight ahead.

Some new signs in the window. "Sorry, were closed." and "wet paint".

That stack of wood doesn't look like much from this angle, but at least it's heavy. (and expensive)

Speaking of expensive; todays title.

...more tomorrow.

Hi everybody, Vela called the other night to remind me to tell you all what the hell I am doing...I wish I knew! I am kind of flying by the seat of my pants here, and trying to fit it in where it fits on each day. That being said, I think that I will be over there as follows:

Wed 18th 10-3ish then we will see what needs to be done (or all day depending)

Thur 19th 10-3ish then we will see what needs to be done (or all day depending)

What am I doing! : Jeff Huckeberry

Fri Nov 13, 2009

Good question.

Making some beard stickers...

sticking beard stickers onto objects...

looking at trees, for some reason...

looking at more trees, and their "accidental" gestures...

and going to the kingdom of performance art objects, Home Depot, for standard issue performance gear.

"You have to bring stuff to have stuff."

"Very beautiful art show for you" at MEME : Jeff Huckleberry

Sat Oct 31, 2009

For this "show" at MEME Gallery in Cambridge, MA I will try to come up with something to do...no, that isn't right. I will make a few performances for a few individual people, for video and then I will "show" these videos to whom ever would like to see them. So the "show" is really at the end of the show, on November 21st at 7pm. But then again, there is also the showing of the making of the "show" which I very much believe is just as relevant as the "show" at the end of the showing of the making of the show...I'll post a schedual for the work times so that if you would like, you may come down a watch that part of the process.
