Happy Holidays

Hi Ros and Harris, - What a nice surprise to recieve your card in the mail. And, just in time for the holiday season - Thank you for thinking of me.
Like most of the so called 99% percent, I've been feeling like I'm pretty tired of hunkering in. Not out there camping yet, but my heart's sure with them.
Wishing you both all the best this holiday season, and always,
Gregory

Amanda Coogan, at the Boston MFA : Joanne Rice

Mon Sep 19, 2011

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to witness a couple of hours of Amanda Coogan's performance  The Passing at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA.   For 24 hours she moved up and down the stairway in the Linde Family Wing.

The action was astonishing elegant and simple.

Larry Johnson a former member of the Mobius Artists Group participated in Swallowing the Sun on August 8th, at Church of the Advent, Boston MA, created by Tom Plsek, Matt Samolis and myself.

On his blog, Larry has posted the text he used for the performance.  Thought you might be interested in his writings.

Mon Jul 18, 2011

Yellow Dirt by, Judy Pasternak* is the story of the uranium mining that poisoned Navajo lands and people.

Presently there is new interest in mining this poison.

Why are we digging up uranium?

Where are the mines?

Who is at risk and who lives on the lands, that will be wasted?

Are we being used?
